We were at the Burlingame Green Street Fair http://burlingamegreenfair.com/ on Sunday. It was a wonderful mix of people and products, all with a common theme of helping the planet stay livable. There was solar powered roofing, electric bicycles, the Tesla car, collapseable bags, seventh generation products and our own organic cotton products – www.urbanhues.com – among many others. People would stroll in from the adjacent farmers market, watch the live music and dance program at the fair and also explore what we exhibitors had to offer. It was eye-opening for me to see so many cool earth-friendly products on display. I loved the electric bikes best of all – need to get one soon. Folks that visited our booth wondered at the softness of of our organic cotton products – Yes, this is how soft a bed-sheet can be when its truly natural, when the dyes are chemical free and the cotton itself is organic (no pesticides). And the azo-free dyes help with a natural smell of the product especially if you have allergies.
All in all a great day – music, food, sunshine, new products and the joy of seeing people’s eyes open wider after seeing, touching and smelling our products. Cheers!
